Dear Medal Collector,

Welcome to the MedalHouse, auction of orders, medals and decorations. While located in Helsinki, Finland our auction is very international. Our fall sale once again will be held in Finland. The auction begins at 14:00 on October 23, 2010 (Saturday) at the Balder Hall (Balderin Sali), Aleksanterinkatu 12, Helsinki. The viewing will begin at 9:00 in the morning of the same day, at the same location.

We are focused on selling orders and medals from all over the world. For instance, in the upcoming sale catalog, you will find an excellent collection of orders and medals from China, Imperial Russia, Germany, Soviet Union and, of course, Finland. We also acquired a nice collection of antique swords, which will be sold at the same auction.

Our main focus is customer satisfaction. We are striving to be as easy to deal with, as it could be humanly possible. We do not have egos, neither we believe that we are an absolute authorities in anything and everything. If you have any problem related to our auction please feel free to contact us and we'll be working with you until the problem is resolved to mutual satisfaction. We also promise to do all business in a friendly and customer-oriented manner.

In the recent years fakes and forgeries were the biggest problem for our hobby. We will be doing everything we can to make sure all items sold at our auction are authentic. As a part of this commitment we try to use the help of the experts well known in their fields. If you buy an item from our auction and, later, obtain a certificate from the approved authority that the item was not original, you would receive you money back. With German items we appreciate the certificates of Detlev Niemann (Germany) and Bill Shea. (USA) (please ask us for complete details of this warranty).
