Medal House

Buying

You may bid by mail, fax, or e-mail at any Medalhouse auction. When you do so, a member of the staff executes your bid for you. There is no charge for this service. You may also execute your bid in person at any live auction or by phone. The bid you make on live auction or as absentee bidder will be the maximum you are willing to bid for a lot.

If you are the highest bidder, you are charged the price at which the bidding stops. For example, if your bid limit is 200 and the next highest bid is 150, then you buy the lot at one bidding increment above the 150 bid for 160. The Buyer's Premium is to be paid on top of the winning bid.
