Medal House

There may be several reasons why you wish to sell Orders & Medals. You may have inherited them but are not interested in collecting. We will gladly assist you whether there is need for distribution of inheritance.

You wish to restructure your collection or finance other purchase. You want to sell doubles. In any case we will help you to find the best way to sell your collection and also support you in financial and tax matters in order to get the best results and to be satisfied.

You are welcome to consign all world orders and medals with us. Just make a list of what you wish to sell - If you are unable to identify what you have, we will help you with descriptions and pricing. Items can be brought to us at any show we participate or our show room in Helsinki, Finland. Please contact us first by phone or email.

Based upon our expertise, we estimate the value of each lot consigned to auction. The estimate is provided as a range of value with low and high figure. Many lots are sold within the estimated price; some are sold above estimate. The low estimate is a minimum bid. Bids below will be accepted, provided they are higher than the consignor's reserve price. Consignors may establish a reserve price below which the lot cannot be sold.

Seller’s premium is 18% - if the item does not sell there are no expenses for consigner. For larger lots we encourage you to ask for our special rates.

All the items accepted for sale will be pictured on our high quality auction catalogue, as well as our web site. Our international auctions normally take place in Helsinki, Finland. We also held a number of auctions in Stuttgart, Germany during the IWB.

We are also interested in purchasing single items or collections directly if you do not wish to sell through auction.
